Sometimes, as part of my cultural awareness program I run at the restaurant, I’ll lead my staff on field trips to area attractions. Today I chose the ever impressive Museum of Fine Arts. We’d been before, once visiting the Russian textile exhibit for new plating ideas, but today was to be all about ancient Egypt. Recently I was explaining to my sous chefs how to mummify a frankfurter, and I thought this trip would offer some fantastic collateral learning opportunities. Unfortunately our visit was cut short when I noticed Ted had wandered off and was drawing his self-portrait on the wall of a model pyramid. Bad Ted.
